The Hobbit and Other Movies
12/17/12
I went to the midnight showing of "the Hobbit" a few days ago. I had to stay up till 4 am after not sleeping too well the night before, but it was totally worth it :D The movie was amazing, there were a few songs in there [kinda wish they did more of those], but they were very well done, and OMG I loooooved this movie ^__^ I really want to go see it again because it was so amazing. Yes, there were extra parts added into the movie that weren't in the book, but I think they only expanded on the story and made it better ^__^ Oh and... Kili ^__^ Ahhhh, he's so cute xD Anyways... I'm gonna stop obsessing about him... but he's seriously adorable :] The eeeeeearly morning of 12/14/12, I also happened to see a few of the shooting stars that were part of the meteor shower. I saw 4 in total... and the last one was this bright star that flashed vividly across the sky for a second or two... it was amazing :D
Last night, Zhenya and I watched this 1997 movie called "Nothing to Lose" :) We were originally planning to watch "Office Space," but then I remembered this movie, and it's soooomewhat similar to Office Space :P Zhenya LOVED it, and I also had a ton of fun watching it all over again :) Good old movies :D
There's a movie that came out at the beginning of October, and I finally got a chance to watch it today. It's called "Pitch Perfect," and it's got a lot of a cappella music... if you like glee [because of the music, not the drama], you will probably like this :) I've been obsessed with their song "No Diggity" for the last few weeks :P There's rap in the beginning, but I don't even mind because it's got a reeeeeally nice beat, and I love the Anna Kendrick's vocals in that song :D
I've been meaning to rewatch "Leap Year" in the past week or so, and I decided to do that today :P At the end, "You Got Me" was performed by Colbie Caillat, which just reminded me of the fact that "Letters to Juliet" also has a bunch of her songs... along with "Valentine's Day." So I watched Letters to Juliet too :P Interesting how the last two movies I watched today were about someone who was engaged [or about to get engaged] and how they broke off that relationship to be with someone they couldn't stand at the beginning of the movie xD That's chick flicks for you :P Oh well... but good movies!! Both of them :D
